For the longest time, it was where my kids were, with me. Now that we will all have separate homes, it's going to need to be a state of mind. I will carry my home in my heart, wherever Chuck and I go. Of maybe it's because we've never had a steady home for years at a time... I don't know... I hear so many people talk about this, but it's not a feeling I have.pioneercynthiahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11697429852762048805noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-435639598621055127.post-31474028974923170762016-05-26T17:27:39.514-05:002016-05-26T17:27:39.514-05:00You always share so much of your experience in you...You always share so much of your experience in your blogmented, and I really appreciate that. I have never had anyone in my nest, so I can't fully relate to the experience. But, I grew up in a small town where my identity was often tied to my parents and my 5 older sisters. I was the youngest DiNoto girl, someone's younger sister (Susan, Mary Jane, Donna, Sandy or Caroline - you pick!), Sam's daughter, Dolly's baby. You get the picture. I couldn't wait to fly the coop and be ME. Now as an adult, I realize those ties are important to my identity, the strength I rely on to weather the storms. I wouldn't trade them for the world.

Congratulations Bridger. How wonderful that your family supports each other through this big moments, and appears to enjoy each other's company so much. Crystalhttp://www.crystalthieringer.comnoreply@blogger.com
